What is Hifz ul Quran?
Hifz — the complete memorization of the Holy Quran — is one of the highest honors a Muslim can achieve. A Hafiz carries the words of Allah in their heart, becoming a living guardian of the divine text.
At AlHassan Huffaz Academy, our Hifz program is built on three pillars: Tajweed (correct recitation), Tathbeet (firm retention), and Tarbiyah (character development). Students don't just memorize — they understand, internalize, and embody the Quran.
Three Phases to Complete Hifz
A carefully structured journey from foundation to completion — each phase builds on the last
Nazra + Tajweed

Foundation phase where students develop fluent Quran reading with proper Tajweed rules. No memorization until this is perfected.

The core memorization phase. Each day students learn new sabaq, revise recent sabqi, and recite older manzil portions.

Parents Ask, We Answer
The ideal age is between 7–10 years, when the memory is at its strongest. However, we accept students up to 13–14 years based on ability. A child should be able to read the Quran with basic fluency before starting Hifz.
On average, 3–4 years for a dedicated student attending daily. Some exceptional students complete in 2.5 years, while others may take up to 5 years. We work at each student's individual pace — quality over speed.
Yes — our program is designed for this. Students attend Hifz in early morning sessions (6–9 AM) and academic classes afterward. Many of our Huffaz also achieved strong board results in their academic subjects.
Absolutely. Boys and girls have completely separate sections, timings, entrances, and faculty. The girls' section is supervised exclusively by female staff and Qarias. This is a strict and non-negotiable policy at AlHassan Academy.
Parents receive a detailed monthly progress report covering Sabaq progress, Sabqi quality, Manzil status, and behavior. We also have WhatsApp updates for daily attendance and a quarterly parent-teacher meeting.
We identify struggles early. Each Qari monitors daily progress, and if a student is falling behind, we arrange extra attention sessions and adjust the daily load. No student is left behind — we find the right pace for every child.
